'karmanye badhika rasta,ma faleshu kadachanah' ...

Today I am as happy and proud as any other fellow Indian as Mr. Kailash Satyarthy bags his well deserved honor -2014 Nobel Prize for Peace ! He has made the country proud no doubt as any other Nobel laureate but the important point is, I hope he inspires thousands of young human minds to carry on his noble work for the deprived section of human race till his dream is a reality ! That will be true salutation to his indomitable spirit ! Mr.Satyarthy's journey and perseverance for 4 decades is immensely adorable even though to be frank I am sure most of the Indians like me knew nothing about his exemplary work till the news broke out ,thanks to the media partners who don't stop a minute in 24 hrs to discuss frivolous issues and characters ! He and Malala are rightly chosen to be the joint Nobel Peace awardee as both of them have shown exemplary courage, conviction, perseverance, vision and have carried death on their shoulders and walked fearlessly on the path of righteousness !

In my small little mind I think certainly Nobel Peace Prize has become more relevant by being awarded to Mr. Satyarthy and Malala as it depicts the success of the cause they are relentlessly fighting for and the children who have seen the ray of hope because of their courage and compassion.Nobel Prize for their work will  certainly be an inspiration for the rest of the world to recognize, adore and follow their path. But for them what really matters  is their courage and conviction which are their divine blessings! Such people in whose thought humanity is nourished and civilizations are cradled are  way above any recognition ! They live and die for the cause they profoundly believe in and work for a cause , not for applause...For them 'Karmanye badhika rasta,ma faleshu kadachanah'...Let's keep their midnight candle burning by following them which they have lit in spite of deep darkness all around...Long live Mr.Satyarthy ,long live Malala , Long live Humanity...

  1. Swadhin! This comment is not for this article but for your entire blog, I read all articles of you. That was in my mind for so many days. Your naming of the blog as spare a moment, spare a thought befits your writing that also rightfully reflects your persona. Today is republic day, I came to know the theme is Empowering woman.. or something like that, I felt it is irrelevant for you or Sarita but not for the country. Again thought is it irrelevant even for you or Sarita?...... If any time you like put an article on my last question... How empowered are our women who looks empowered like a busy professional, educated, with more than average income and so on. I am not putting pressure but I feel you people can write it more lively than me. See we it seems read too much literature and feel where is the time to read everyone ? Yes true but as a fellow writer I want to read more of you. I shall not mind if you give all your links in my timeline to read it fresh. I am not writing in FB so your link will enrich it without crowding it. After your son`s exam spre more moments and spare more thought. Thanks.
